Ki’LaLa Events & Décor was created with a deep love for our people, our traditions and the beauty of authentic Indigenous expression.

Ki’LaLa means “butterfly” in the shíshálh language. I chose this word to honour my daughters, who are connected to the shíshálh Nation, and the spirit of my granddaughter. The butterfly represents transformation, beauty and the opportunity to grow, inspire and create something meaningful. It reminds me of her.

The colour purple holds deep meaning for me. It represents wisdom, spirituality and healing, and most of all, resilience. In the teachings I carry, purple symbolizes the healing power of the grandmothers—a reminder of the strength and justice we carry through love, culture and connection.

Ki’LaLa Events & Décor was founded to create authentic Indigenous environments that celebrate culture, honour communities and showcase the extraordinary work of Indigenous artists. Every gathering is an opportunity to tell a story, strengthen relationships and create spaces where people feel welcome, respected and inspired.

We do not simply decorate spaces. We create authentic Indigenous environments where culture, artistry and community come together.
